Several drinks with aquavit

Is curiosity piqued after several aquavit drinks, and do you need more fresh, colorful, tasty cocktails made on Danish schnapps this Easter?

Here you have a couple of extremely tasty drinks that will taste exquisite with ELG Spirit's award-winning ELG Akvavit.

 

ELG Akvavit Old Fashioned

 

  

Recipe: 

• 6 cl. ELG Akvavit 
• 1 sugar lump 
• 2 splashes angostura 
• Ice

ELG Nordic Manhattan: 

Recipe: 

• 5 cl. ELG Akvavit 
• 2 cl. sweet vermouth 
• 1 splash Angostura 
• Ice

 

ELG Akvavit Sour: 

Recipe: 

• 5 cl. ELG Akvavit 
• 2.5 cl. freshly squeezed lime juice 
• 2 cl. sugar syrup  
• Possibly. 2 cl. egg white 
• Freshly ground pepper 
• Ice

 

Flyversjus - A true classic on aquavit!

When the English military pilots came to Denmark in 1945, they were used to drinking Gin and Ginger Ale - they could not get it in Denmark and thus got schnapps and lemon water - thus; an aviator juice.

Recipe: 

• 4 cl. ELG Akvavit 
• 12 cl. Fever Tree Lemon Tonic (Link), or a good, homemade lemonade
  
• Decorate if necessary. with a slice of lime
• Ice
